Recently, Nanjing Jieyang Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully completed CE certification for its full range of straw equipment products. Among them, the straw inspection and rejection machine received its first-time certification, while the other three series underwent certificate renewal. This certification was strictly carried out in accordance with the following standards and directives:
Harmonized standards: EN ISO 12100:2010 (Safety of machinery — General principles for design) and EN 60204-1:2018+A1:2025 (Safety of machinery — Electrical equipment of machines — Part 1: General requirements).
Applicable CE directives: 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive (MD) and 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive (LVD).
As early as 2009, our company had already obtained EU CE certification for its three major product series. This renewal was not a reactive measure, but a proactive upgrade based on over a decade of experience in the European market, ensuring that product compliance remains aligned with the latest international standards. Unlike the old certificates from 2009, the new CE certificates, issued under the latest EU regulatory framework, clearly indicate a validity period and are accompanied by a "for online check" QR code. Customers can scan the QR code on the certificate using WeChat or their phone's camera to be directly redirected to the official certificate verification system of Notified Body No. 1282, enabling real-time online verification of the certificate's authenticity. Customers may also manually visit the Notified Body No. 1282 certificate inquiry website at http://certificate.entecerma.it/it/VerificaCertificato.aspx and enter the certificate number for verification. This certification has further strengthened our company's compliance documentation system and provides customers with a more convenient verification method.
